Curious... I have a 6 month old Light Sussex pullet than is GINORMOUS!!!~! Biggest FRicken CHicken in a whole flock of mature hens...(Orpingtons, Delaware,Wyndotte, Australorp), but she's definitely not male. She rivals my 6 month old Cochin rooster in size, and probably outweighs him.

Is this normal?

I hatched out 7 chicks on 7/8 and I was told they were all pure silver sussex two that hatched were light sussex and now one of the two is feathering out solid black like the silver sussex can someone tell me what is going on with this chick the other one is starting to feather out white with black around its neck
