I apologize for reviving a dead thread. Can anybody tell me - are svart honas particularly slow growing?

I don't remember mine being slow growing, but they were slow hatching. I almost gave up on them, and turned the incubator off, but they hatched on the 23rd day.

I don’t find them slow growing, but they are not large birds. They are one of the smallest “large fowl” breeds and do not look much larger than bantams.

Ok I got a pair tonight....I think I was lied to....they look the part...all black everything but skin....skin is normal chicken color....they look different than my Ayem....less game looking. So is skin black too? Thanks

Mine have black skin.
