My swap eggs from NH had messed up air cells darn post office! I left them in waiting for a miracle to happen, but no such luck. Hopefully my next swap eggs the post office will be a little more careful.

i got a millie and a pocelain both hatched!!! we r so excited, thank you very much!! wow r they just little things,lol. they r smaller than any d'uccles i've hatched before. i'll take a pic and post it for you. would love to trade anytime with you just let me know when and what u r wanting.

I know that they might even seam too small, but don't worry, the parents do well in poultry shows!

The Mille Fleur mom even got Reserve Class Champion, which is very hard to do when you are competing against the all-popular Cochins!

lol i figured out why they looked so little to me. i was going by my last hatch of polish. stupid me forgot they were standards and add the topknot they r way taller, rotfl.

they r smaller than my d'uccles when hatched they look not much bigger than my seramas were when born. it's no prob they look realy healthy and r cute as a button!! i just forgot how little d'uccles were i haven't hatched any or bought peeps for them since last year.

I can't keep my eyes off the bator. I don't dare open it though. I let them go so dry with the loose air cells they had., i've been really worried about them being sticky. so far they look fine.

Leslie0815, no I was just mentioning Cochins that were in a poultry show. I am pretty sure the breed of those eggs starts with "S" .

I got 4 precious little silkie bantams. Thanks Marie!! Now to figure out the colors...

Thanks. it's been one of the best shipped egg hatches yet.

As of this point there is only 1 left unhatched and unpipped. all the rest are out.
that's 10 chicks out of 12 eggs!!!

Several are sticky and i'm bathing them to get the crust off, so only 3 have come out of the bator so far. I did have to help one because it was so sticky it couldn't twist in the shell to finish chipping it.
