DH bought a Char-Broil grill a few days ago. When I saw how big the box was compared to the quickly shrinking size of the chicks' current brooder, I grabbed it! We get a kick out of it being a grill box.

My white giant cockerl's the same way, as soon as I open the brooder lid he's out wanting held, I think I'm gonna miss him the most when they have to go to the farm in the next few days.

A wire cover would be a good thing or they'll end up as your bed buddies!

LOL! Ummm...No thank you! They do have a cover that I put on at night. For the most part, they'll get on the edge of the box to check things out then turn around and hop back in.
