There should not be non laced blue. It's a mistake of breeding then covering yourself by pretending it's a new variety. It's not, it's poor breeding. Self blue cannot pertain to a blue variety as two blue in color bred together do not produce all blue color chicks. But any lavender bred to lavender produces lavender that are all blue in color- self blue defined.

I was under the impression that the 'self' in 'self blue' referred to that lavender-colored birds didn't have the lacing and dark patches that blue-colored birds generally do and thus were uniform in color all over, not to the colors of the offspring being uniform.
