~The Threat of The Shadows~ A Warrior Cat RP

“Yeah, it’s Hickoryshade,” he nodded. “And you’re Meadowfrost?”

Quickly nodding her tail tip flicked slightly. "Yup, it's strange that I don't see you very often. Perhaps we just end up on warrior duties at odd times." The she-cat guessed, it seemed like she didn't know much of anyone. Was she really stuck in her head that often? Shaking the last tingles of embarrassment from her pelt, she perked up a bit. Struggling to find ways to start conversation. "How's the prey been running?" She'd ask finally.

“Same it’s been running for you,” Hickoryshade replied, whiskers twitching again. “Well.”

Meadowfrost chuckled. "Of course, sorry." Turning her head back toward the nursery her ears perked once more. "Oh, I was curious. Do you have kits in the nursery? .... I mean, expecting?" She asked oddly.

(God she's so socially awkward it hurts lmao)
(Lol)
“No,” he replied, confused. “I don’t have a mate. Why do you ask?”

Crowfoot pricked his ears, was Hickoryshade really that oblivious?

“No, it’s fine,” he shrugged.

Meadowfrost shook her pelt, how about they did something useful instead of sitting here and chatting. "Uhm... want to go hunting? Or gather more moss?" She asked, "I mean, I think the preypile needs some filling. But we could always do with some more fresh bedding." Perhaps doing something would help the awkwardness, if he didn't feel like helping her she'd shrug it off and go on her own. Whether he joined or not didn't matter much to her, though it'd be nice to have an extra pair of jaws and paws to help her.
