The tiny serama; a Hatching adventure

I'll be tackling the brooder plate this weekend. Do I sanitise normally?

I imagine not given all the electricals, but how do I get the metal part clean?
You should be able to wipe it, just don't immerse it or get it too wet, but a damp cloth and some sanitizer or soap followed up by another damp cloth wipe down should be fine. That's how I do mine.

This is what I had in mind, but I wasn't sure if it would be enough. Thanks Tink!

Thank you so much! ❤️These 3 hatched during the night. Missed it. Today, more pips. I won’t be home later. I’m going to miss it again!
I'm sorry you will likely miss the zipping and hatching, that is always so amazing to watch! Super cute quail babies you have!

Guess who candled early :p

all the serama that were with us on the first official candling are still developing, and from the Tsouloufates, Jelly Bean, Κουλουράκι, Τσουρέκι, and all the others I randomly picked up are developing! The rest will remain a mystery until this Friday

I'm really happy, but I don't want to jinx my happiness :p
I get that way too. But we need to grab all the joy we can along life's journey! Enjoy this regardless how it turns out. :hugs
