The Tummy tucking flab busters of BYC 2012

Just wanted to check in and let you guys know I've been working out 2-3 times a week for at least 40 minutes to an hour and also I've been eating very well. I've lost between 6-8 pounds this past month, depending on the mood the scale is in. I'm happy with that, and I can feel my pants are a bit more loose. I really want to get down to 240 next month, and I think I can actually do it this time. I'm down to about 254ish (sometimes 252 depending on the scale!).

Now that I am getting healthier, I would love to get into the dating world. I'm having a bit of trouble meeting people though. I've thought about online dating sites, but I don't really feel all that comfortable using them. I just seem to see the same people over and over again and with work it is difficult to find time and motivation to get out and do things with! Any ideas of easy things to do to meet people?

Just be in public... loiter at the grocery store; volunteer somewhere, stalk in the library, do church group things....like I'm one to talk though. I am almost a recluse.
 
Well I missed the feb 1st weigh in... I think I stayed the same but gained some here in Feb. at least it feels like I did. too afraid of the scale......BUT, here I go to the elliptical shortly. I will do what feels right, been a bit since I've been on!
It will give the ducks another chance to swim while I am in the barn!
 
Hay guys sorry I have not been on in a few days. I just got so snowed under with sooo much stress from everything.
I do hope everyone is still hanging in there and doing their best to get the lbs off? I struggle as ever but can say that I am maintaining a weight!!!!!!! Too much of course but I am creeping in the right direction. Hopefully once we get the rest-bite issue sorted here there will be more chance to excersize, walk the dogs,cycle etc. I am looking foward to some sort of normality though I believe it will take a while to get things into place.

So my mom just stopped using the Medifast diet food after she lost 25 lbs. She gave me the extra food and I'm planning on using them to supplement some of my meals. I'm not planning on doing the whole diet, just adding some of the food to my regular diet. Does anyone have any experience with the meals, and how did it work out if you did not do the whole 5 and 1 diet?
 
Well, this past week has been a bit of a disaster in terms of my excersise regime. My eating hasn't been totally off-track, but not exactly on-track, either. I need to re-focus and get these last 7 pounds off.

Chickerdoodle, I see a lot of guys at the grocery store on weekend evenings. And don't be too quick to dismiss on- line dating. I met my BF on line three years ago. At least you get a summary and a picture of them, and can exchange messages before you decide to go oit with them, which is more than you get just meeting people in bars or stores!

Thanks - I am just about alive - things have been quite hard work. I am very tired and certainly valentines did not help the diet. DH is too good with the food!!! Back to rabbit food tomorrow !

I am not staying on long as I am worn out. Just wanted to touch base with you guys and tell you I am still around! Do all keep going with the weight stuff as your all such a support to eachother and to me in this. I am soooo trying to get to grips with it and into a nice frock come the good weather!

I have managed to lose another 2 lbs this week despite DH making a lovely coffee and wallnut cake! Hope you are all hanging in there???

You are not the only one! I started watching what I eat, exercising on January 2nd of this year. As of last Friday (2/10) I have lost a total of 7.4 pounds! I started walking up and down the stairs at work (three flights) I use an eliptical machine, ski machine and finally Wii Fit! I do the Virgin Miles through my work. I walked over 45,000 steps between 2/9 to 2/14. Tonight, I am taking a break!! My goal is to lose 67 pounds by 1/2/13! That is aprox 1 pound a week! I am on target, but I can see I am going to change my work-outs, etc over the next 10 months!
 
Well seems like all you weight loss enthusiasts have been hiding!!!! Any one of you lose anything??????????? Except eachother?

I am struggling as ever but have managed to keep the weight at a constant level hovering between 10st7 and 10st9 so I am happy with that right now. I am trying hard tog et back down to 10st1 which I was in October. It sure would be nice to get down to that again and maintain it rather than flip back up again. So that is what I am working at right now.

Anyhow may go and investigate more rabbit food.
