(Jeez, what are they doing to these children? If you're bleeding everywhere, you do NOT let your toddlers see it! Or really let them know you're hurt, because they'll usually freak out. Imagine how much that could mess a kid up? Once when I was a toddler/baby I cut my lip open and my lip was bleeding a ton and I was freaking out and crying, because I saw blood. My mom managed to calm me down, but it was still scary for me.)
