Daniel decided to go to the city, and walk alone a bit. He was happy with his current life, especially since it involved Naeva."Alright, good night then." Naeva said before he left, then went outside to skin the boars and cut the meat. She had to get it all done before she went to bed, so she'd be able to smoke it overnight so it'd last longer.
Once the boars were skinned and cut, she went ahead and started smoking it in her smokehouse so she could sleep. Instead of hunting, she drank some of the boar's blood (after putting it all in jars, to keep it secure), though it was already starting to thicken. She lit a fire in the wood stove before heading into her bedroom to change and sleep.
Daniel finished his walk and headed back into the woods when he noticed a figure around Naeva's house. He looked closer, and noticed it wasn't her. He snuck closer.Naeva sat at her dresser in her room, brushing her hair impatiently. She had heard you were supposed to stroke your hair with the brush 100 times, but that was way too much for her to do every night, whether it made her hair smoother or not.
Naeva remembered that she didn't close her windows, and decided it would be best to do that. Leaving her room, she went to the first window and was going to close it at first, but saw a woman walking around. She got her rifle just in case, and walked out of her home.Daniel finished his walk and headed back into the woods when he noticed a figure around Naeva's house. Buttercup walked around the house, scared as ever, just cold and shivering.
(It's just her nickname, she never met her parents. And Buttercup is nine.) Buttercup trembled and said "I'm sorry, I'm just looking for a home. That's all. I'll leave, I'm sorry."Naeva remembered that she didn't close her windows, and decided it would be best to do that. "Hey! What's going on?" She called out defensively to Buttercup.
(Ugh, who would name their kid Buttercup. It reminds me of the Powerpuff Girls, and I did not like that show.)
"The way you look for a home is wandering around someone else's? That's a way to get shot. If you want a home, then you should probably make one, but if you need a place to stay for the night you're welcome to stay here." Naeva offered and shrugged. She never liked helping people who didn't help themselves, but sometimes people just needed a little push.(It's just her nickname, she never met her parents. And Buttercup is nine.) Buttercup was about to answer when she started crying. The crescent moon arose, and her spine contorted and her face alongside. She gasped to Naeva "Please...don't hurt me." before she started crying again, as she slowly grew a tail and fur sprouted out of her skin."The way you look for a home is wandering around someone else's? Buttercup was now in full on fox form, and just snarled at Naeva, but acknowledged she was stronger, so just went over to a pile of leaves and attempted to sleep.Naeva rolled her eyes.
"Miss, did you even listen to what I just said? I'm not gonna hurt you, I'm not racist against other species. So, if you need a darn place to stay for the night, you're welcome to stay here." She told her sternly.
