CATS or DOGS????

I don't like dogs either. Would never own another one. Cats are fantastic! They are clean. Mine shed very little. They are loving & affectionate without being noisy & over the top & they never bother the chickens. An untrained dog is an absolute menace & as most of the ones round here fall into that category I have no time for them. Packs of them are plain nasty. Know lots of you love yours & I will assume you train them well. Rarely the case round here & I know 2 things about myself:
  • I don't have the time to train a dog properly
  • & I don't have the pack mentality required to become the alpha pack leader a good dog requires ~ so no dogs.
The dog I have now my other dog trained after I wasted time training it to die few years later I communicate with my dog by growling. It knows I'm leader lmfao I've seen so many dogs that are aggressive..that wouldn't fly with me. I don't see how people think it's funny or cute. My cat though is a perfect little angel my dog actually raised her since she was two weeks old. As it was 4 days prior to the first pic that my other dog died

Momma cats aren’t good at raising pet cats 🤣🤣🤣🤣 My 3 dogs essentially raised my cat, Obsidian. Our family cat, Pumpkin, was bottle fed after being rescued during a natural disaster. The difference between these 2 cats and other cats we’ve had is remarkable. If anyone out there isn’t sold on cats, getting a dog-raised or bottle fed kitten may be the trick. As far as my cat is concerned he is seriously the best behaved cat I have ever had. He acts much like a dog (coming when called, sitting for treats, likes belly rubs), but still has the qualities to like with cats (doesn’t bark, doesn’t go in the trash, doesn’t have accidents in the house). Obie and ‘Kins wouldn’t cut it as feral or farm cats (or even indoor/outdoor cats) b/c they didn’t have a mom cat to teach them. But they had dogs and humans to teach them how to be the unique, awesome dog-like cats they are now. If anyone out there is a dog person who has a child (or partner) begging them for a cat, a happy compromise may be a bottle fed or dog raised cat lol?

My cat raised the rest of the litter perfectly fine it's just my dog was depressed so I decided to take a kitten to give her

Dog person all the way (big dog person, actually), but I like all animals and have cats. Dogs are fun to train and you can take them places. I enjoy few things more than hiking in the woods with a good dog. Dogs are definitely more time consuming than cats though, particularly as puppies. (Litter boxes are the worst.)
I definitely agree with all this :love
