Katrina glanced at Gavin, worried she had woken him. His snoring confirmed otherwise, so she slowly and as quietly as she could, she poured herself a cup or water.

As Linnet stared at the door straight ahead, a small tear slid down her face.

Linnet awoke. She smiled, then remembered last night. Frowning, she rolled over and went back to sleep.

Edmund had been up since dawn. He had already eaten and was just awaiting the time he had to leave.

Katrina put a log on the fire, and put the pot to boil with water. She sat on a chair staring at Gavin, wondering how he had found them.

Edwin sat in front of his fireplace. He couldn't sleep. Now he just waited for his maid to bring up breakfast.

Maud knocked on Adrienne's door.

Fawn sat in her window, swinging her legs in a most unladylike fashion. She grinned to herself. Today promised to be good–well, maybe not good, but fun and satisfying.

Richard stood casually at the gate, but it was obvious he was waiting for someone to come out.

Mariah took her early breakfast in her room. She waited for Audric to wale

Gavin slowly opened his eyes, wondering where he was and why he was in a cabin. He rolled over and glanced groggily at Katrina "Hey" He mumbled, suddenly remembering why he was there.

Gwen had just eaten her breakfast, and was heading to the stables. She looked down the isles for a stableboy. "Would you go and kindly fetch me my horse?"

Redd sat by the windows ledge. If it wasn't for Gavin, he probably would have already left.

Kat limped down the path, eating her apple, on the way to the stables.

Gwen smiled when the boy returned with her large bay. "Thank you." He helped her saddled, and then she was off.
