*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

"Good, good," Richard replied. "I'm fine."
---
Edmund mounted his black Friesian and exited the paddock.
---

Kat smiled. "That's good." They walked a little farther. " what brings you down here?"

The smile never left Gwen's face as she galloped to the meadow. "Oh I hope he hasn't changed his mind."

"Pancakes and oatmeal!" Adrienne whooped "Calder loves oatmeal! And I haven't had pancakes in like three whole days!"
-----
"How're you this morning?" Gavin asked Katrina, though he wondered why he cared...it was strange, but he didn't think about it for long.

Katrina measured out the oats she had brought. "Me? Oh, I be fine as I'll ever be," she replied. "How'd ye sleep? That floor wasn't too uncomfortable, I do hope."
---
Maud smiled. "Yes, I know. You tell me nearly every morning," she chuckled. "And here is your tea. Do not let Calder get into it again, ou hear me?"
--
Richard walked slowly alongside Kat. "Oh, Ya Know, just doing my knightly duties," he said, somewhat sarcastically.
---
Fawn swiftly climbed into a large oak by a field. She hummed to herself as she pushed branches out of the way. Finally, at nearly the tippy-top, she sat down on a sturdy branch. She shaded her eyes as she viewed the large meadow.
---
Linnet awoke again. Her breakfast sat on a tray on her desk. It was cold. She scowled, then sipped the tea anyway.
---
Edmund grinned. The princess was surprisingly quite forward. He never would of guessed that upon first glance. Well, she sent him a note, she must need him for something.

"It was better than a tree" Gavin said seriously.
-----
"Calder, you heard Maud. Stay out of the tea" Adrienne scolded the rooster playfully "You don't even like tea"
Calder dipped his beak in her cup and took a sip, just to prove her wrong.
"Oh Calder!" Adrienne scolded.

Katrina smiled, then frowned when she realized he was serious. "Do you like oatmeal?" She asked, switching the subject
---
Maud laughed at Calder's silly antics. "Here are a few napkins, should he spill it," she said. Turning to leave, she said, "Your sister arrived home late last night, and she left early this morning, but she should be back in time for tea."

"If it's food, yeah" Gavin nodded enthusiastically.
---
"Thanks Maud" Adrienne smiled "tell her to come see me if she comes back and I don't see her! I wanted to hear ALL about last night!"

Katrina laughed. She stirred the oats into the pot. "Aye, it is food. So, tell me a little about ye self," she begged.
--
Maud smiled. "Yes, of course child. As soon as she steps foot into the castle, I will be at her side with your request."
--
Linnet quickly got dressed into a simple blue gown. She left her hair down, as she was in no moot to fix it.

"Well..." Gavin said slowly, glancing over to be sure Rachel and Redd weren't listening. He still didn't trust them "There's not much to tell" He shrugged "My parents..." He gazed out the window "Well, let's just say I'm an orphan who lives in the woods. I don't usually trust people and I don't normally barge into cabins. I..." He didn't like talking about his past. After all, he hadn't become a desperate criminal for no reason "I've been on my own for ten years, after an event I don't care to get into. I'm hiding, Katrina. And for some reason I don't truly understand I trust you to keep that a secret" He stared at the floor, knowing he had said too much to a total stranger.
