*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Adrienne set Calder down on his special silk blanket on the royal sofa. She layed down beside him and braided his tail while she waited.

Katrina measured out the oats she had brought. "Me? Oh, I be fine as I'll ever be," she replied. "How'd ye sleep? That floor wasn't too uncomfortable, I do hope."
---
Maud smiled. "Yes, I know. You tell me nearly every morning," she chuckled. "And here is your tea. Do not let Calder get into it again, ou hear me?"
--
Richard walked slowly alongside Kat. "Oh, Ya Know, just doing my knightly duties," he said, somewhat sarcastically.
---
Fawn swiftly climbed into a large oak by a field. She hummed to herself as she pushed branches out of the way. Finally, at nearly the tippy-top, she sat down on a sturdy branch. She shaded her eyes as she viewed the large meadow.
---
Linnet awoke again. Her breakfast sat on a tray on her desk. It was cold. She scowled, then sipped the tea anyway.
---
Edmund grinned. The princess was surprisingly quite forward. He never would of guessed that upon first glance. Well, she sent him a note, she must need him for something.

Most laughed sadly. "Yeah... They have taken me off duty until my leg heals. Not much to do until then.

Gwen smiled happily as she dismounted to wait for Edmund.

(Adrienne is adorable!)
Maud chuckled to herself as she left.
---
Edmund dismounted on the other side of the grove. He walked his horse keeping an eye out for Gwen.

Fawn chuckled to herself. She watched the princess and Edmund on different sides of the grove trying to find eachother.
---
Katrina put her hand on Gavin's shoulder. "My parents are both dead as well," she said truthfully. "So I understand, maybe my as well as you, but some." She smiled.
---
Richard nodded. "I see."

Gwen heard a horse snort. She looked around as she tried to tame curls.

Kat shrugged. "Oh well...i guess."

Edmund tied his horse's reins to a tree. He looked around cautiously.
---
Richard stopped at the stables. "Do you feel well enough to ride?"

Gavin smiled his first genuine smile in a long time "Thankyou Katrina" He said "I'm glad we met...even if it was in a rather awkward way" He replayed the events of the past twenty-four hours in about five seconds "Okay, a VERY awkward way" He put his hand over hers "But some days make all the struggle worth while...even if they don't last"

Katrina blushed. "For the record, I'm glad we met as well." She looked down at her feet. The pot starting boiling over, but she was too engrossed in thoughts to tend to it.

Gavin regretted his words within seconds. He wasn't helping anything by being so open with his feelings. He stared at the ground, not noticing the boiling pot either.

Katrina finally came back into reality. She pulled her hand away before Jenel or Redd came down, and hurried to stir the pot. It was soon ready. Still blushing, she began spooning it into bowls

Gwen sat under a widow tree, out of the sun. She was so sure she had heard a horse, maybe it was just her imagination.

Kat smiled brightly. "I am always well enough to ride."
