*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Gwen stopped, hands on her hips. "And what exactly, am I thinking?"

Fent rolled his eyes. "Are you actually enjoying this?"

"And why not?" Audric asked.
Edmund laughed at Gwen. "If I told you, you'd get upset," he chuckled.
--
Emilee slowly nodded her head. "Yes. I am. I do the dishes and cleaning and caring for the livestock for my father, but it's not the same. You, for one, don't yell at me," she said.
--
"Because! Edwin's marriage must take place first! Then, I don't care what Peter and Lady Linnet do," Mariah argued.

Edmund chuckled. "I bet I can guess what you're thinking," he said. ---

Emilee clapped her hands. She gathered the tea things and put them away, then set the cups in a bucket of water.
--
Mariah put her hands on her hips. "Well they mustn't get married before Edwin marries the princess," she said. "I don't think it appropriate."
--
Linnet's cheeks were rosy red. "Sir Peter has asked for my hand in marriage," she told Serenity.

"Oh, thats wonderful linnet!" She said smiling.

Gwen crossed her arms."I would be upset at you for my own thoughts?"

Fent pauses. "Why would he yell at you?"

Audric frowned. "You know exactly why that wont work!"

Edmund quickly ducked. He held his finger to his lips to signal her to be quiet.
---
Emilee looked surprised. "Why, if I don't do everything "perfectly" then he gets upset."
--
Mariah raised an eyebrow. "No, I do not know, how about you tell me."
--
Linnet began walking slowly. "We'd best go somewhere more private, in case there are servants eavesdropping," she said. "Care for a horse ride, your highness?" She asked
--
Fawn stopped her horse and dismounted. She considered waiting on Redd, but thought better of it. She led her horse down a fresh path of footprints. After a moment, she let the beast go ahead of her and she broke off an evergreen branch behind her to sweep away the prints.

Gwen held her breath, sure that they could here them.

Fent thought for a moment. "I suppose that makes sense?"

Audric lowered his voice. "I know what you have done."

Emilee shrugged. "I suppose so. But it isn't only harsh words," she said slowly.

Mariah looked surprised. "What have I done?" She asked
--
Fawn's horse plodded on, Fawn following behind and clearing away their prints.

Maud set the small vase filled with water on Linnet's desk.
