*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Fents head snapped up sharply. "He hits you?" He asked, outraged.

Audric glared down at her. "You know exactly what you did. The fair of my kingdom rests on your mistake." He turning around and sat back in his chair. "You are dismissed."

Audric glared down at her. "You know exactly what you did. The fair of my kingdom rests on your mistake." He turning around and sat back in his chair. "You are dismissed."
Emilee nodded her head slowly. "Can I tell you something that I've never told anyone?" She asked
--
Mariah frowned. "Audric, I am completely oblivious to what you are talking about, but I shall now leave," she said. She turned and headed for the big wooden doors.
--
Edmund was about to get up when he heard rustling. "Gwen, lay down by that log," he pointed to a fallen oak tree a few feet away.

Fawn was satisfied with her trail covering. She and her horse were now only walking on leaves and pine needles, so she saw no need to continue sweeping.

Emilee sat down at the small table. "I think–I think my father is the reason my mother left," she began. "I was only four, but I remember my mother packing a small bag and just leaving one day. And she took my little sister with her," she paused to wipe her eyes.
(Twissssssst)
---
Mariah stormed down the hallway to her bed chamber.
--
Edmund nodded. "Go ahead, I'll find someone," he whispered loudly.

Fawn now walked beside her horse, holding its reins. She wondered where Redd had gone off to

Fent sat down beside her. "You have a sister?"

Gwen frowned. "I'm not going to run off like a plucked turkey, while you go into the danger!"

Redd came to a twisted fork in the road. One side was beaten down, the other had a faint dust streak down the middle. He chose the second path, and continued following what he hoped was Fawn's trail.

"I did," Emilee replied. "I barely remember her, that crying babe," she stared into the distance for a moment, deep in thought.
--
Edmund, despite the situation, laughed quietly. "No, I'll come with you. Now scoot!" He headed for the log
--
Fawn looked over her shoulder to see if anyone was following. Nothing.
--
Mariah sat down on a heavy velvet settee, her gold gown flowing around her. How did he know?

Fent ran his fingers through his hair. "Look, Emilee, I know you are very devoted to your father, but you can't go back."

Gwen quickly shifted to lie down by the log. "And what purpose does this serve?"

Emilee looked up. "But I must. Not just for my father, I have other reasons, other ties, to the village," she said.
--
Edmund his behind a dense bush nearby. "Shh."

Fawn stopped and looked around. She crouched down to examine a fresh foot print.
