*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Jane nodded in agreement. "I should be going as well," she said.
--
"Sorry, just thinking," Edwin apologized.
--
Edmund nodded slowly. "Yes, thank you. Thanks to Alnwick, there was little I had to do in ways of repairs upon moving here."
Fawn and Linnet both sat quietly, just listening to the men talk.
---
(Kk)
"Well," Richard glanced around.
--
(Oh yeah, that too. )

Maud poured some water into a vase to water Adrienne's dying flowers. "Of course, Princess."
--
Nurse lady came into get Katrina. Nursery agreed to watch Gavin carefully and Come fetch Katrina if there was any change with the wound

"Well than have a nice day." Redd said with a wink.

"About what?" Alena asked.

Peter...had nothing

Kat flicked leaf of her shoulder. "Have you been busy?"

Jane smiled politely. "Oh, will you be joining us for 'the feast'? After you get that man, of course."
--
"Things. Stuff. Important, princely stuff," Edwin grinned.
--
Fawn was beginning to feel super uncomfortable and awkward. Here she was, an assasin, dining with a lady, a duke, and a knight. She picked around her food with her fork, but wasn't hungry enough to actually eat it.
Edmund, beginning to feel equally uncomfortable, thought hard of something to say, but nothing came to mind. "The roast is delicious," Linnet said quietly.
--
"Nope," was Richard's very blunt reply.
---
Emilee finished her nasty stew and headed inside.

Redd shrugged. "I'm not usually invited. Unless I'm protecting the royals of course."

Alena smiled shyly. "I should probably let you go do your princey stuff then. You were probably on your way to do something important."

Peter nodded and took a bite. "Thank you."

Kat laughed. "A lazy knight then?"

Gavin continued sleeping and being miserable, completely oblivious to the fact that Katrina had left.
---
Cliffton returned his horse to the stables and started inside.
---
"Thanks!" Adrienne took the corn cakes and fed them to Calder.

Looking him in the eye, Jane thought a moment. "Who are you?" She finally asked Redd.

(I've a bad tendency to get my characters into long conversations with people whose name they don't know :lau )
--
"Nah, I was just going to get ready for another wretched feast," Edwin chuckled.
--
*awkward silence* A servant filled everyone's goblets. Fawn mumbled something of a thank you to the man.
---
"Nope. A knight with nothing to do," Richard corrected her.
--
Katrina hurriedly followed a couple other servants to the kitchen where she was instructed to do some things.
--
"Cliffton! Son, get in here immediately!" Mariah called. "Ah! You aren't even dressed for supper. Go, go quickly and change," she told him. One down, two to go.
--
Maud picked up the tray once more. "Of course princess. If that's all, I'll go see to your other sister."
--

(Wrong, Richard. You have rooster tails to braid and princesses to entertain

---
Cliffton groaned and started back to his room "Mother!" He called over his shoulder "Someone stole my candlestick by the way!"
---
Adrienne waved and flopped back down on the couch to drink her tea.

:)lol: not exactly something a proud knight wishes to tell a pretty lady )

Mariah gasped. "You insolent child! How dare you back talk me! Go to your room this instant and the next time I see you you had better be dressed for supper," she scolded him.
--
Maud carried the tray with a teapot and two teacups to the study where the twins were tutored.
---
Emilee tried not to breath in the ghastly smells of the tavern. She set the bowl on the counter then went upstairs to claim a spot to sleep.
--
Katrina could hardly concentrate on her tasks. Her mind kept wandering to Gavin, hoping and praying he'd be fine.

(True

)

Cliffton turned and ran to his room before she could get madder. In his opinion, any son should be able to talk to his mother in a less than propper fashion, weather he's a prince or not.
---
Adrienne offered Calder some tea.
---
Gavin moaned miserably and turned over onto his side, oblivious to the pain that caused.

Redd was quiet for a second. "An assassin."

Alena laughed. "As do I."

Kat snorted. "You cant be patrolling the borders for trespassers?"

"Oh, an assasin? Sounds fun," Jane laughed.
Inwardly she was slightly more concerned, but didn't let it show.
---
Edwin turned around to go back downstairs. "Remember, act casual and don't raise the queen's suspicions any more than they already are."
--
"I'm a knight. Not a guard. Different thing completely," Richard replied, smirking a bit.
--
Mariah sighed in frustration. Why couldn't at least one of her sons be the perfect obedient man the kingdom needed?
--
Nurse lady laid a cool wet rag on Gavin's forehead.
--
Emilee wrinkled her nose in disgust as she entered one of the upstairs rooms.
