*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Clifton quickly dressed in something more or less presentable and headed to the dining hall.
---
Adrienne picked up Calder and headed outside.
---
Gavin sighed.

Mariah stormed around the Hall, trying to find Audric.

Emilee dropped her bag at her feet. She proceeded to untie it and get her bedroll out, but not before checking to make sure her money pouch was securely tied in her sleeve.

Katrina purposely spilled some food on herself, giving herself a chance to be excused to change. Instead, she went to the apothecary to check on Gavin

Cliffton sulked into the dining hall. He was hungry, but didn't want to attend a banquet.

Gavin did nothing.

Adrienne strolled around the Alnwick orchard.

Jephry ate what he was pretty sure was an apple.

Genevieve approached a knight to ask about the rider.

Cedric stopped beside a tree for the night. He pulled out a stick of jerky with one hand and his candlestick with the other. He stared at a mountain in the distance.

"Oh, an assasin? Sounds fun," Jane laughed.
Inwardly she was slightly more concerned, but didn't let it show.
---
Edwin turned around to go back downstairs. "Remember, act casual and don't raise the queen's suspicions any more than they already are."
--
"I'm a knight. Not a guard. Different thing completely," Richard replied, smirking a bit.
--
Mariah sighed in frustration. Why couldn't at least one of her sons be the perfect obedient man the kingdom needed?
--
Nurse lady laid a cool wet rag on Gavin's forehead.
--
Emilee wrinkled her nose in disgust as she entered one of the upstairs rooms.

Redd smirked. "Only if you find ripping people open fun."

"Am I going with you?" Alena asked, slightly alarmed.

Kat put her hands on her hips. "I know what a knight does."

Jane was taken aback at his reply, but simply smiled trying to sound interested. "Oh, well I don't find ripping people open fun–" she chuckled. "Not that I ever have, of course," she added quickly.
---
"Hm, well I assumed you were coming down anyway," Edwin said.
---
"Oh, really?" Richard smirked.
--
Mariah waited impatiently in a room off of the hall. None of "her men" were present and her irritation was growing by the second.

Katrina tip toed into the apothecary. Nurse lady had left a minute ago to attend someone who had a splinter.
---
Emilee plopped down on her bed. She had picked a corner, which seemed the best place to sleep when one is amongst creepy awful smelling strangers.

"How are you feeling?" Katrina asked. She filled up a mug with water.

The silence was beginning to grow unbearable. "I think I shall retire to my room early tonight," Linnet said.
"If you are asking permission, then there's no need," Edmund smiled.

Redd pushed past Jane into the hallway. "Its because you're never tried it." He joked.

Alena nodded. "Yes...but your mother?"

"I'll have you know that I am a knight if Edinburgh. And it appears that I'm doing a better job at it than you!" Kat said defiantly.

(XD)

Jane frowned. His humor and manners were quite shocking, but there was still something she rather liked about him. "And I hope I never have to try it," she replied, pushing past him.
---
"We'll just avoid her. But you probably ought to return to your tasks so I can return to my 'princely duties," Edwin said.
---
Richard rolled his eyes. "Hm I don't know about that. For instance, why are you here?"
---
"Terrible" Gavin mumbled truthfully.
"At least you're alive," Katrina chuckled. "Here, drink this," she said, handing him the water.
---
Fawn pushed her plate away, not having the appetite to eat right now.
