*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Gwen lay on her bed and groaned. "Her and that silly pigeon! Why does she carry that thing around."

Kat snorted. "They don't do much with me. I'm not as capable apparently."

Thomas clutched his stomachs and groaned. Maybe he shouldn't pick fights with the town boys.
Linnet hurriedly left before Gwen realized she was gone. Maud chuckled. "I believe the creature is a rooster, your highness," she said as she handed Gwen the full teacup. "There is cake and scones. Will that be all?" She asked.

Linnet stopped by her room to grab her cloak then proceeded down the back stairway. The less people to see her leave the better. She clasped her cloak as she hurried down a stone pathway towards the gardens. If Fawn had indeed delivered the note as asked, Peter should be by the treeline by now.

Richard frowned. "Well you're a knight. Sure you're, well, female, but they still ought to give you your share of duties," he said.

Fawn, having finished unsaddled her horse and fed and watered it, slunk down in an empty stall to think things over.

Emilee helped Anna wash the dishes they had used, then went to check on the pony and cats.
Anna watched her daughter from the window. Now if only Katrina could get some time off to visit, she would have the family together. At least, what mattered of the family.
~~~
Jane rapped on the door. "Cliffton? Your highness, are you in there?" She said loudly.
"I dont care what it is! The creature is absolutely disgraceful and unladylike! And I'm here being forced to be around it." Gwen rambled. "Why couldn't she settle for a kitten."
Peter paced up and down the tree line. No Linnet hadn't set a time to meet, but she should have been there by now.
"That's what I've been saying!" Kat exclaimed loudly. "There isn't a thing that you can do that I cant do just as well."
Maud laughed a little too loudly. "She did fight for that rooster, and your mother relented. Perhaps you ought to get yourself a kitten?" She suggested.
Linnet, with a big grin on her face, began running as soon as she was out of sight of the castle.
Richard chuckled. "Well I'm sure there are a few things you can't do as well. But that's besides the point! Are you hungry?" He quickly changed the topic.
Anna set the cast iron pot full of water over the fire to boil. She then went and began fixing the teacups and herbs to make tea.
Mariah stepped lightly down the hallway, paused a moment at her door, then entered. "Oh Audricccccc dear!" She called, poking her head through the door of their private sitting room.
Gwen rolled her eyes. "Animals are disgusting. Why would I want one around?"
Peter scanned the the hills for Linnet.
"Like what?!" Kat questioned loudly.
Audric quickly shut his book and leaned back, as if asleep.
Maud frowned. "I did think you to be quite fond of horses, my dear," she said quietly.
"I shall go see to your sisters now, if that will be all."
Linnet came up from the direction behind Peter. "Peter!" She called out. She couldn't help from smiling, joyful to see Peter again.
"Yep, you're hungry. You like pie? Good," Richard replied rather awkwardly, immediately afterwards cursing silently in his head about it. He began walking, ignoring Kat's last question. Why was he so often of late getting into awkward conversations with this woman??
(Aww poor Audric)
"Audric, we have serious things we need to discuss, and YOU know we do," Mariah said determinedly and quite loudly.
Gwen groaned, and hid beneath her pillow. "Dismissed." She mumbled.
Peter broke into a huge grin. "Linnet?"
Kat remained motionless, hands on her hips. "Do enlighten me SIR Richard."
Audric let out a fake snore, but choked. He sat up sputtering. "Oh. Didn't hear you come in, My Dear."
Alena angrily ripped the seams of Edwin's jacket. In her lack of focus, she had sewn a jagged edge.
(Oh hey sorry guys! Got busy unexpectedly. I'm not really RPing with anyone. Cluckcluck, you want Millie to meet Jephry in the orchard? Crazychick, maybe one of your Edinburgh characters could run into Genevieve?)
Gavin ate an apple he had taken from the kitchen without permission while he waited for Katrina to come. He wasn't sure what he was going to tell her, but after what he'd heard, he was sure he had to leave.
Adrienne was supposed to be working on her embroidery, but she had gotten distracted with braiding Calder's tail, which was far more enjoyable to her.
---
Cliffton headed out to the stables to fetch Clyde for a run.
---
Genevieve guarded.
---
Jephry strolled through the halls of Edinburgh, looking for something knightly to do. He finally decided to go hang out in the orchard, as always.
---
Cedric tossed his sack of stolen things onto his pile and sat down at his makeshift table for a supper of beef jerky.
