(It is the plot but Alfric is in a bedroom trying on a mask. How could he have missed seeing Alena's body? And I don't remember redd poisoning her, did I miss something?)

(You missed the passing out post probably. She was in the bedroom (Edwin's) tidying stuff and she drank something. It was kinda brief because Crazychick and I weren't sure exactly how that was gonna work. Big room, she's at the other end or something)
 
(Okay, I'll have to back track to try and find it.. He's wearing the mask now, maybe Katrina comes in through a second door and Alena is lying on the floor on the side of the bed that wasn't visable to them from the first door. Mmmk, Kat?)
 
(The room has two doors, Alena is passed out on the floor beside the bed. However, Katrina has only just noticed this as Alena's body wasn't visible from where she was standing before. That is how Alfric didn't notice her.)

( :smack he's focused on one thing: clothes for the ball, not thinking about unconscious people. It's like a child in a candy shop not noticing the creepy man in the corner.)

Alfric's brought suddenly back to reality as Katrina bursts into the room. He turns quickly to face her, trying to process what she has just said. The mask, she's talking about the mask. He grabs it roughly and tries to remove it, but it holds fast, a pair of peacock feathers sticking between his fingers.
