*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Edwin looked surprised. "Followed Lady Linnet?" He began walking towards the castle of the Edinburgh's.

"You haven't noticed?" She was surprised. "He is your best friend isn't he?"
"Yes, he is my closest friend, but it's not like I keep him on a leash, watching him constantly," Edwin replied cockily.
--
Richard wandered around the castle, bored. He was the only knight currently residing at the castle, and as he was so much more superior than the servants and working hands, there were very few people for him to converse with. There was of course the princess and Lady Linnet, but neither seemed too fond of him. He scowled angrily as he thought of how Linnet refused his arm—twice! And Gwen didn't even know who he was.

Alena laughed. "You don't exactly have to be with him very much to tell that he likes her."

"Well, lucky for him," Edwin said, with somewhat an edge to his voice. "At least he can choose whom he marries," he muttered to himself.

(Is Gwen still with Lariah?)

(yes *sigh* i think that Gwen and Edwin should spend some time together and then start to like each other and then one does something stupid ex. She sees him kiss another girl

"Maybe you two should at least spend some time together, and at least know something about each other. Just a thought." In her head, Alena hoped that he didn't like the idea, even if it was a good one.

"Ha! We've tried that. Father even had a whole feast. Oh, golly. If only I was allowed my own choice in these kinds of matters," he said.

"No Edwin. I mean time alone. Not a party, maybe a walk or a picnic. Something.
Edwin decided to let the fact slide that she had not addressed him formally. "That's a nice idea, I guess." He looked at the ground as they walked.

Richard grabbed his bow and arrows and headed to the archery targets.

"Well if it turns out that you guys can't stand each other, then its not any worse. But if it turns out you get along, then its better. What is there to loose?"
(so persistent)

Edwin laughed. "Yup, nothing to lose." He sighed. They were nearly at the castle now. "We'd better go in a back entrance, so no one gets suspicious," he said.
--
Richard angrily shot arrow after arrow. Several missed, but more hit.
