Linnet grabbed a scone and pear from the kitchen, then hurried to the garden. She had no wish to sit inside the drafty old castle all day.

Mariah ate her breakfast silently. She daintily wiped her mouth with her napkin, then got up and went to her desk and sat down.

Katrina sighed. The man hadn't seen anyone matching her description. She patted the bag at her hip to make sure it was still there. She retied her hood, thanked the owner, then left. Her halflinger pony snorted impatiently.
 
Gwen sighed, and walked clumsily towards the powder room.

Alena obeyed, and sat awkwardly in a large red chair.

Audric wiped the sleep from his eyes as he walked out of his chamber. His hair still slightly ruffled, he buttoned the last button on his shirt.
 
Maud went to the wardrobe and pulled out an outfit. She brought it to Gwen. "Stand up dear," she said.

Linnet sat down on a bench and began eating the pear. She wondered what Gwen had planned for the day

Mariah looked up at Audric. "There you are," she said as she resumed writing on a square of parchment bordered in gold.

Katrina sighed. She lead her pony down the dusty road then stopped in front of a different tavern. She wasn't the least bit surprised a town would have two. A wooden sign swung above the door. It read in black lettering "Red Dragon." After tying her pony to a post, Katrina entered. She looked around a moment before spotting the back of Jenel. She walked over to her. "Miss," she said quietly

Heleman's eyes darted up cautiously at the girl, then back at Jenel, waiting for her reaction.
 
"Mistress," I've come," Katrina said quietly as she tugged Jenel's sleeve gently. She glanced at Heleman, then quickly averted her eyes to the ground. She wasn't sure wether or not he was with Jenel.
