*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Richard crossed his arms, and stood up to his full height, giving a rather menacing appearance. "Sorry, sweetie. I don't think His Highness is going to listen to the likes of me," he said, not sounding the least by sorry.
Maud wipes sweat from her brow with her handkerchief. "That's what this is about? And I thought it was something exciting like pirates," she muttered.
---
Linnet hurried down the steps to the courtyard.
---
Katrina laughed half-heartedly. "Ye may start by cutting up the pheasant," she said as she tossed in some scallions.
--
Edmund's page handed a letter to a servant, who then went to Gwen's door and knocked.

Gwen opened the door, rubbing her eyes as if she had been asleep. "May I help you?"
wordless, the servant held out the letter to Gwen. It had Edmund's seal. He bowed and left

Linnet ran to Peter. "Oh Peter! You don't realize how happy I am!" She alexclaimed joyfully
---
Fawn, after many stops to slide into the shadows, made it to the king's pibrary. She waited till all was clear, then entered silently. She ran her thin fingers over the books as she passed. The king's great big deal sat in the center. She smiled to herself.
---
Edmund called for his horse to be saddled. His page helped him carry the two bags to the stables.

Jenel left her room to find Edwin. The castle looked dark and dreary to her now< and unbelievably stuffy. Her gown also felt very heavy. She sighed.
Edwin thought hard. He needed to do something, and fast. Especially if Alena's life was indeed at risk. He decided against talking to Mariah, as that would just make her more upset. (Whoops suppose to be Edwin
---
Mariah rang the bell for a servant. Blah blah blah "WHERE IS HELEMAN??" She demanded.
---
Fawn flipped through a book she had picked up on King Audric's desk. Hearing a sound in the hall, she quickly ducked behind the draperies.

"Does no one else even care if she goes away forever!?" Adrienne exclaimed.

Gavin picked up the pheasant and took a knife from the counter, beginning to chop it up into little cubes

"I got two words for you, princess. Life and Reality," Richard said to the girl.
---
Katrina glanced over at Gavin. "I wonder when the princess will send up the guards she said she was going ta send," she murmured to herself

Gwen smiled and quickly finished packing, before heading out with a small bag over her shoulder. A maid had already carried out her bags, so it wouldn't seem obvious.
