*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Edmund loosened his grip slightly. "And if I don't kill her, then you'll kill both her and me, I presume?" He waved the letter in Redd's face.

Fawn pulled her cloak closer around her. "So the large pouch of jewelry attached to your sash doesn't contain a single coin?"
---
The servant nodded. "Her Highness requests your presence immediately in her parlor."

Mariah smoothed her gown out. "So what brings you two here today?" She asked.
Linnet smiled. "I came to talk to Peter, and Sir Richard just accompanied me," she explained.
---
Katrina put a log on the fire. "Gavin, I don't feel safe here. Especially after those Knights found us."
---
Maud smiled softly. "Child, I believe you haven't eaten this morning. Come, let us go find you something to eat."

Gavin nodded "I agree...but where would you go?" Naturally assuming he would not be included in her new plans, though he secretly hoped this wasn't true.
---
"Okay" Adrienne sniffled "But if Gwen isn't back by tea, we'll tell his royal highness daddy sir, right?"

Katrina shrugged. She wasn't used to be able to make her own decisions, as at the castle she was always under someone's orders. "I don't know. I want to return to the castle, for the princess's sake."
--
Maud grabbed Adrienne's arm gently. "Yes, of course."

Read shrugged. "I doubt I'd kill you, you're not worth my time. And I don't kill women."

Gwen's eyes went wide as she recognized the women's face. "Aren't you one of my fathers assassins?"

Peter nodded, and quickly followed the servant down the stairs.

Katrina shrugged. She wasn't used to be able to make her own decisions, as at the castle she was always under someone's orders. "I don't know. I want to return to the castle, for the princess's sake."

That pretty much settled it. No way would Gavin be welcomed at the castle. So, as a last ditch effort to not be separated from his new friend forever, against his better judgement, he announced "I know places...places we could go"

Katrina turned to Gavin. She smiled. "Are you saying run away?" She asked slowly
--
Edmund stuffed the letter in his pocket. "Then leave." He said bluntly.

Fawn shook her head vigorously. "Me? No, I'm just a humble peasant," she said unconvincingly.
---
The servant knocked on the parlor door.
"Enter!" Mariah commanded

Gavin regretted mentioning it, but it was too late now "in a loose sense, yes" Gavin nodded slowly "But not for long, just until we...you know...know it's safe here"

"A...another cabin" Gavin said slowly "I...know someone" that was sort of true, though this 'someone' was kind of a last resort "Alena?" He thought about it "She disappeared...got kidnapped, ran off...I can't help her if I don't know where she is. Maybe she doesn't WANT us to know where she is"
(Here here Gav, where is she?)

Redd shook his head. "Sorry lover boy, but I have some unfinished business to attend."

Gwen frowned. "Leave now."
