*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Gwen's eye's widened in alarm. "Are you sure?" She glanced around quickly. "It could be a fox couldn't it? We can't automatically assume the worst."

Gwen's eye's widened in alarm. "Are you sure?" She glanced around quickly. "It could be a fox couldn't it? We can't automatically assume the worst."
Edmund shrugged. "But in cases like this, sometimes it's best to expect the worst." He put his horse into a quick trot.

Fawn watched them, waited a moment, then began following at a safe distance. She cantered around them then stopped and waited at the edge of a stream where she knew they'd pass.

Gwen nodded and quickly followed as they sped in towards the cottage. They stayed at a slow gallop until they reached the edge of the wood line. "Ready?"
(sorry if I got that wrong silkie I think they were in the woods lol)

(It's fine I don't know where they were. Haha.)
Edmund stopped. "The cottage shouldn't be more than a quarter mile from here," he told Gwen.
Fawn yawned. She waited impatiently for the two to see her.

Gwen heard a sound and looked around. "Edmund...I believe you may have been right. I feel as if we are being watched. We should hurry."

"Very well then, let's start picking," Katrina replied. She figured Gavin still being alive was proof enough that the berries weren't poisonous.

Richard rolled his eyes, his back to the princess. He dismounted and went to a stream to fill his canteen (almost rhymes. Not quite

) He didn't know nor cared what happened to Fawn, but he was slightly worried what she was up to. He was oblivious to the rider following them (Redd, right?)
Gavin accepted the basket from Katrina and started filling it with berries.

Fetch me some water while you're there!" Adrienne called, as Calder picked corn cake crumbs from her hand gently.

Richard huffed. He filled his canteen then Adrienne's with water.
---
Katrina did likewise. She picked a small berry and examined it

Fawn smirked. "Hello, princess," she said slyly. Edmund glared at her.

Fear swirled around in the back of her mind, she tried not to let it show. "What are you doing here?" She asked, trying to keep her voice even.
