Kat finished her apple, and tossed it off the wall. She continued patrolling down towards the garden.

Edmund grinned. "Anything for you," he said quietly.

Linnet laughed. "Never mind. It's getting late. You'd probably best be returning to your castle soon," she said.

Katrina frowned. "We've got time, and I'd like to hear a story. Tell me, please," she said.

Richard cantered his horse. He was now sure they were being followed. "Adrienne, stick close to me," he yelled over his shoulder.

Gwen smiled at him, before turning back to fawn. "Thank you for the warning, but we will be on our way." She took a small jingling pouch out of her bag, and dangled it in front of her. "Would you be so kind as to lead the following party in another direction?"

Adrienne pulled her horse up next to Richard "Why?" She asked.

Gavin smiled "Well, I used to know this guy..." He said slowly "We were kinda, well, uh...partners in crime, I guess" He looked hesitantly at Katrina, wondering if he should go on.

Jephry pluck a peach, set it on the fence, and aimed his bow at it. He was not good at archery.

Fawn frowned. She gnored the offered pouch and rode off in the opposite direction.

"We are being followed," Richard whispered. He tethered a rope from Adrienne's horse's bridle to his own horse.

Kat jumped off the wall, just in time to see a poorly aimed arrow shoot past. "Hey!"

Fawn frowned. She gnored the offered pouch and rode off in the opposite direction.

"We are being followed," Richard whispered. He tethered a rope from Adrienne's horse's bridle to his own horse.

Katrina stared intently at Gavin. "Yes?"

Gwen huffed, and stuffed the pouch into her bag. "I suppose we had better get going, before they catch up..."

"Oooh, this'll be fun! Hold on Calder, we're being chased!" Adrienne exclaimed.

"And we lived in a cave...not my cave, but one on the other side of the woods" Gavin continued "And we didn't really have a bunch of food, so one spring day this guy asked if I knew of anything we could eat. I told him I knew of some berries, and he said he'd heard that most of the berries in the area were poisonous. I told him not eating was poisonous too, so he dared me to try them first. If I didn't die within twenty-four hours, he'd eat them too. I didn't die, and I think these are that same kind of berry..." He looked at one skeptically "I'm fairly certain"

Jephry dropped his bow and turned toward the voice "Um...sorry!" he called.

Kat stormed through the bushes angrily. "Are you trying to kill me!"

"No!" Jephry exclaimed "No, I was just trying...trying to shoot an...apple"
