*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Linnet shook her head. "Different stable hands are out here nearly every time," she said. The stable lad brought out Linnet and Serenity's horses. Linnet stepped onto a small wooden ladder and mounted her dapple grey mare.

Emilee nodded, laughing again. "Yes, I'm fine," she assured him.
--
Fawn returned to her path to head back to the road in search of Redd.

Edmund slowly stretched out. "All clear," he whispered.
--
Edwin entered. "Hey."

Fent gave her a reassuring smile. "I'm going to get some sleep."

Redd took his time, not really caring where he went.

Gwen sighed in relief. "What now?"

Peter slouched back in his chair. "Do you need something? I have important...issues...I need to deal with." Of course this was a lie, but Edwin didnt need to know that.

Emilee wiped her eyes with the sleeve of her dress. "All right, I's best be getting to sleep as well. I need to leave early in the morning, if that's okay with you," she replied.
--
Fawn mounted her horse. The two slowly returned to the road.
--
Edmund stood up and brushed himself off. "We continue. It's getting dark, and my horse and our supplies is still out there," he said.

Edwin closed the door behind him. "When's the wedding?" He asked in a cheerful tone

Fent gaped at her shocked. "You're still going back?"

Gwen gave him a tight lipped smile. "I suppose that would be vest. Though I dont know how successful we will be."

Peter shrugged. "I'm not sure."

Linnet shook her head. "Different stable hands are out here nearly every time," she said. The stable lad brought out Linnet and Serenity's horses. Linnet stepped onto a small wooden ladder and mounted her dapple grey mare.
Serenity stepped onto the small wooden ladder and swung herself into the saddle, she secured her feet to the stirrup, she looked to linnet, waiting for her.

Emilee nodded. "I must," she replied bluntly.
--
Edmund pulled a few leaves from his hair and began walking.
--
Edwin crossed his arms. "You must have some idea, surely," he said.
--
Linnet guided her horse out of the paddock. "I know of a lovely grove we can go to," she told the queen.
--
Fawn finally emerged from the woods. She looked to her left, then her right at the road, but there was no sign of Redd.
--
Mariah slammed her bedroom door behind her, leaving a servant in shock and covered in tea.

"How could you?" Fent asked. "I wouldn't. But I won't stop you."

Gwen slowly followed. The sole of her slippers had worn through, causing her feet to blister. She should have packed better.

Emilee sighed. "It's complicated."
---
Edmund stopped to let Gwen catch up. "Would you like to go back to Mister Assassin's house for the night?" He asked. "Then you can sleep in and I'll get up early to search for my horse," he suggested.
--
Linnet sped her horse to a canter. The sun was beginning to set, leaving the trees illuminated in a lovely orange glow.
