*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

"No, no," Katrina gasped. "I used salt instead of sugar in the pie," she corrected him. "I sprinkled it very generously over the berries and used it in the pie, in addition to the normal amount of salt."

Edmund began walking in no particular direction. "No, it's fine. No need to apologize–(*breaks into song*)–," he said.
---
Edwin opened the door to leave. "Now you owe me," he said as he left.
--
Fawn cantered her horse in the direction of Alnwick castle.

Gwen smiled. "But there is. You didnt have to."

"Then you can forget it!" Peter called after him. He always wanted something. Why could he not just help a friend sometimes?

Edmund stopped and turned to face Gwen. "Very well then. I accept your apology," he smiled.
---
(He was teasing)
Edwin hurried down the steps.
--
Katrina slid her slice of pie into a bucket. "The wild animals can have that," she said.
--
Fawn continued riding. She couldn't wait to get back to Alnwick castle.
--
Emilee woke up suddenly. The room was dark. It took her a moment to remember where she was.

"Yeah, can't argue with that" Gavin agreed, plopping his piece in with it.
---
Jephry released his falcon when he saw a rabbit move in the bushes.

Katrina laughed. "Well, what do we do now?" She asked. "It's nearly dark."
---
Maud poured some tea into Adrienne's little tea cup, and she cut a large slice of cake to go with it. "Here," she said.

"I believe Sir Richard and–" Linnet hesitated, "And Princess Adrienne went out to search. And Maud sent out a contingent of soldiers to search, but heaven knows they won't have any luck, so I sent out the assassins," she explained.
Serenity sucked in her breath and let it out slowly, "Thank you for telling me Linnet." She said, she briskly walked back to her horse and untied it, she walked over to a fallen log and stepped onto it, then she swung onto the saddle of her horse, she secured her feet in the stirrups then looked at Linnet, "I will be going for a ride, I will be back before nightfall." She said, then she rode off, she was very angry with her husband for not telling her, and her other daughter had left to go too, she knew what she was about to do was brash and stupid, but she wasn't going to stand idly by while her daughter was missing.

Edmund stopped and turned to face Gwen. "Very well then. I accept your apology," he smiled.

Gwen continued passed Edmund and up the path back to the cabin.

Peter sighed and layed down on his bed.

Fent was sitting in a chair by the fire, when he heard a sound in the other room. Emilee must be up.

Katrina laughed. "Well, what do we do now?" She asked. "It's nearly dark."

Maud poured some tea into Adrienne's little tea cup, and she cut a large slice of cake to go with it. "Here," she said.
"Well..." Gavin said thoughtfully "I suppose we should be getting to bed soon, we've got a long day ahead of us" He peeked out the window to be sure 'his' horse was still there.
---
"Thanks" Adrienne took the tea and cake and snuggled down into her bed beside Calder "Maybe Gwen will be back in the morning" She said hopefully.

Linnet mounted her horse and rode off.
--
Edmund followed gwen quickly.
---
Edwin knocked on his father's library door.
--
Emilee sat up in the bed and tucked her knees under her chin. She dreaded going back.
--
Katrina dumped the remaining pie in the bucket. "Yes, we ought to."
--
Maud stoked the fire. "Maybe she will.'
