*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Gwen sighed and continued riding. What was wrong with him?

Fent nodded. "I had a sister but she..." He trailed off. She didn't want to hear about his sister. And frankly, he wasn't up to talk about it.
Edmund stopped abruptly and quickly dismounted.
--
Emilee looked up. "I'm sorry," she said quietly.

Gwen was now irritated with his silence. She dismounted and stomped over to Edmund. "What is wrong with you?!"

Fent shrugged. "It was a long time ago. I shouldn't act like this anymore."

Edmund stared blankly at Gwen. "Oh, Gwrn, I don't know what I'm doing or saying or anything!" He exclaimed. He picked up a stone and threw t as far as he could.
---
Emilee smiled sadly. "Everyone has things in their past of long ago that tend to haunt them," she said.
---
Fawn had lost Redd hours ago. She didn't really care and had more important things on her mind

Gwen rolled her eyes. A grown man throwing a tantrum? Nor only that, but a nobleman! "What changed? Why are you acting different?"

Fent turned back to the window. "Do you?"

Gwens pushing wasn't helping. "Come on. Let's get you where you're going," Edmund walked over to his horse and mounted.

Emilee thought a moment. "My father, of course," she frowned. "And perhaps my mother is still alive. But the chances of that are low, as she was a sickly woman, or so I've been told."

Gwen's frustration began to increase. Fire burned behind her eyes, and tears began to roll down her cheeks.

Fent nodded. "Do you have many memories of her?"

Edmund sighed. "Your highness, we must leave now if we don't wish to be late," he said.
---
"I was three, so not really." Emilee frowned. "There's something I should tell you."

"Late the what?!" Gwen yelled. "You haven't told me anything!"

Fent sat patiently, waiting for her to continue.

"If you follow me to the designated place, then I'll tell you," Edmund cantered off
---
"I am, uh, well, betrothed," Emilee stopped stirring the pot and picked at a loose string on her apron

Gwen sat there just breathing for a moment. When she was calmer, she followed Edmund.

Fent's head snapped up. "What?! What do you mean?! To who?!"
