Katrina talked to the guards a moment, then went inside to get her bag.

Richard barely heard Adrienne, he was so focused on who was watching him.
Fawn slid down off the wall and walked over to where the two sat. "I didn't know you knew how to braid," she teased. Richard ignored her

Gavin hugged the cat and waited for Katrina to return. He didn't know what he was going to do after she left.

"Richard" Adrienne nudged him "I need your help doing this" She noticed, but didn't care that all the people were watching.

"I will mother" Cliffton promised, taking a bite of some sort of royal breakfast.

Peter smiled and slipped through the trees to retrieve his horse.

"Couldn't you go falconing? Or practice your swordsmanship. I'm sure Peter would be more than happy to duel with you." Alena offered.

Elaina swung her sword roughly at her instructor. She would not allow her brother to beat her at another duel. She was already better at most of their daily activities. Archery, horseback riding, knife throwing. Though his talents were natural. She herself had to practice relentlessly to be better.
 
Katrina got on the horse the guards brought with them. She looked back over he shoulder at her mother and Gavin, before turning towards the road.
Anna put her arm around Gavin. As if reading his thoughts, she said, ""you may stay here a while, if you need. I have a spare room," she smiled.

Richard looked back at the shiny feathers. "Ok," he agreed. Fawn walked away, laughing.

Linnet went through a back stairwell to her bedroom to write a note to Peter

Edwin frowned. "Where is Peter? He didn't follow me home last night," he said.

Maud knocked on Thomas's door. "Breakfast," she called.

(Poor Maud. So many little royals to watch now XD)

Emilee continued riding. She wanted to get to Alnwcim as fast as possible and get off this miserable horse.
 
Alena shrugged. "I'm sure he will turn up soon."

Peter cantered his horse back towards Edinburgh.

Thomas finished buckling his boot and stood. "You may enter."
 
Gavin's eyes stung but he forced a smile "Thanks, that would be great"

Cliffton stuffed his face with Royal foods, using the manners of a pig.

Linnet quickly scribbled bit a note which she gave a servant to get to Edinburgh quickly.

Maud entered. "Sir, here's your breakfast," she said, setting downs tray full of delicious food

Anna patted Gavin's shoulder. "Supper will be ready soon," she said. She went inside to tend the fire

Katrina held on tight to the reins. The guards were in a hurry to return, so she had to stay in pace with them. She hated leaving Gavin so abruptly

Mariah rolled her eyes. She stood up and left, leaving her pig-like son to finish the food. The maid waited patiently to clean up the dishes.

Gavin set the cat down, kicked a stump, and stalked into the house.

Adrienne handed three more feathers to Richard "Twice more, and we'll be done" She said happily.

Cliffton took one more bite of something, started to go study, but remembered how boring it was, and headed to the stables to get his horse.
