Katrina set a sachet of herbs into a mug of hot water the nurse lady brought her. She then took a bottle of tincture, a jar of salve, and a bowl of warm water over to where Gavin was.

Edwin shrugged. What was he to do with Cliffton
 
Had Gavin been awake he would have been quite nervous of what Katrina was doing. Instead, he slumbered on.

Katrina took a clean rag and dipped it into the water enough to soak it.
(Where did he get stabbed exactly?)

Edwin didn't even bother to investigate if the window had indeed been broken. He went downstairs

Emilee stopped at the town's gateway. She looked around timidly, unsure where to go
 
Jane was very pretty, but Redd wasn't going to acknowledge that he had noticed. "I'm not pretty?" He said faking hurt. "What would make you say that?"

Gwen blinked back tears. "But why?"

Edwin went to go find Alena.

Katrina winced even though she wasn't the one on the painful end. She cleaned off most of the dried blood, then applied a large amount of a different salve. The nurse, meanwhile, measured out a spoonful of valerian tincture.

Cliffton stared wide-eyed at his horse "When did you come back?" He demanded "And why did you run off? I thought you'd got stolen or eaten or worse!" He hugged the horses large neck, then backed up and glared at him "That was very mean of you"

Cedric laughed delightedly as the castle disappeared from sight. He had a few very valuable things, and capture seemed far from possible at this point. Not to mention his revenge on Gavin. Maybe he'd be sorry now.
