*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Peter fumbled with the girth. Finally he got the saddle on, and galloped (into the sunset

"R-rain? Yes. Of course. Its rain." Gwen stumbled.

Kat shrugged. "Doesn't matter."
(I guess Fawn has been there already?)

~~~
"Yes, rain. But that should not effect you. Unless you've planned some outdoor activity, of course," Maud said slowly.
Linnet set the book down and headed for Gwen's room. Seeing as the door was already open, she entered without knocking. "Good afternoon, Gwen," she said, smiling.
"Well you were obviously headed somewhere, and since you won't tell me I suppose I'll just have to find out," Richard said, smirking.
~~~
"Do you wish to play another game? Or, rather, lose at another game?" Jane asked, chuckling.
Edwin frowned out the window. "No. No, I do not. You go find Cliffton and tell him to saddle his horse. Let's go for a ride and get out of this drafty castle," he said decidedly.
Jane smiled to herself. "It looks like rain," she said even as she stood and left the room.

"No." Gwen said quickly. "I was just going to...read." Linnet entered. "Oh hello Linnet."

"I was headed anywhere in particular."

Mille was still playing with java,"sccceeeee!!sccccrrrre!whip!whop!"whined java."you are such a Nut!!"said Mille,laughing

Linnet smiled and dipped a curtsy. "I am going for a walk, so I won't be joining you for tea," she explained.
Maud raised an eyebrow at her but continued fixing Gwen's tea.

"Well then. You won't mind me tagging along if you aren't going anywhere in particular," Richard said as he winked at Kat.
~~~
Jane hurried down the hall in the direction of Cliffton's room. She was pleased that Edwin was just as uncomfortable as she around Mariah. A horse ride would do them all good.
Edwin went to fetch his cloak from his room then headed towards the stables.
Gwen smiled. "Mind if I join you?"
Peter left his horse in the nearby pasture, and awaited Linnet's arrival at the edge of the woods.
Kat shrugged. "If you really want to wander aimlessly around the courtyard, fine by me. Though, being a knight, I would think you would have some sort of duty to attend."
Linnet looked pleadingly at Maud. "Your highness, I believe you told Adrienne you would help her with her embroidery," Maud interrupted.
Linnet breathed a sigh of relief. "That is a pity. Perhaps you can join me tomorrow," she added with a smile. She turned to leave.
Richard jumped back as Fawn came cantering into the courtyard. Scowling her turned back to Kat. "Nope, I don't have anything to do right now. And I should think that you, being a knight, would have some duty to attend."
Fawn, breathless from the Wild ride, dismounted and led her horse to the stable, not bothering to apologize for he fact that she nearly mowed Kat over.
Gwen lay on her bed and groaned. "Her and that silly pigeon! Why does she carry that thing around."
Kat snorted. "They don't do much with me. I'm not as capable apparently."
Thomas clutched his stomachs and groaned. Maybe he shouldn't pick fights with the town boys.
