They are so fun!! Everybody (but the other chickens) think their hair is awesome. They are sweet and cuddly. They jump up at my feet when I dont give them the attention they desire. I originally had 11 but 6 were for a neighbor. She called me 2 weeks after having hers at her house and wanted to know if I would take one back because she was depressed and just sitting away from everyone else in the coop. I asked her if she was paying them any attention and she said no, she hadn't had time for that. The next day she called me back and told me that she had the elderly lady she day sits for play with her and hold her while she did other chores and that fixed the problem. She said I loved them and spoiled them too much!! haha

Thanks for all the posts on this subject. I’ve isolated my polish rooster after noticing a bloody mess on his head. Is there anything I can put on his wounds to heal better/faster? When it has healed, I’m going to try the pine tar method.
