Thank goodness they have changed my weather forcast. Ideal is shipping Monday. I am praying for a Tuesday deliver. They moved the below freezing weather to Wednesday. I am sure glad that front has slowed down. Fingers X's here. I hope we are all really lucky and get our chicks at the perfect time.
The wait is killing me.

Weather's supposed to get warm for 2 days here, then get cold again. It's so frustrating, but at least it's breaking up some. Incubator is arriving on Tuesday, eggs on Wed.

Babies have been moved to the 26th to coincide with hatching. I'm getting closer! Good luck to everyone getting chicks this upcoming week!!!

I got a call from Mcmurray this morning telling me that they had a low number of hatchings so my order was postponed for 2 MORE WEEKS!!! This is killing me

I am going to cancel my order, since I just placed an order with Ideal for the following, which should ship on Mon or Tues:

On March 22 or 29 (they haven't let me know yet) I am going to pick up our order of 12 chicks from Decorah Hatchery in Iowa. It will be a 3 hour drive for me but I just can't wait.

My 37 should be arriving from MMH tomorrow or Monday. The cell phone is pretty much stapled to my side until then... I'm getting nervous again since my first group never showed up, but I figure there is NO way it could happen twice.. except now I can't sleep! I went down and checked the horses a few minutes ago, and I definitely woke them up.. hahaha blink*blink*blink It was really cute. Now I just need some fuzzy butts to make the family complete..

I have 5 coming from my pet chicken. They will be shipped on monday!!! Should get them tuesday. I work on tues so am hoping they come in early because I can pick them up after dropping off 5yo at school at 12:15. I'm a nanny. If not, then a friend will pick them up after her job at 3:30.

All this planning for just a little chicks, lol. I can't wait!!!!

Mine are shipping on the 19th from Ideal. I am 6 1/2 hrs away. I am preparing to drive down if the weather turns too cold. Am I crazy? What an emotional waiting period.

Mother to 4 dogs, 9 domestic birds, 3 desert tortoises, and soooooooooon.........little peeps.......
