More scouts checking out the swarm trap today! It’s not much but it is something.

I did, however, respond by ordering 20 medium frames and started preparing to build 2 medium boxes for brood expansion and honey supers. Once I get passed the crud and feel better, I’ll get right on that. If I catch a good swarm and don’t kill them over the winter, it’s highly unlikely I’ll need a honey super this year. That being said, the 20 frames and 2 medium boxes will complete a triple stack. Coz bees don’t wait!

Being that trailer floors are made from 5/8” plywood and not 1x whatever lumber, some adjustments had to be made. That extra 1/8” is like Moony… kind of a big deal. I may need to add a narrow strip to keep my frames from falling in, but I’m going to wait and test the frames in the notch first. I actually had to trim the frames (as earlier stated) that came with my deep brood box.

That's what happens to me with one Benedryl. Getting up the next morning is like coming back from the dead. Including the stagger, the incoherence, inability to focus either my eyes or my thoughts!

The 3rd box is done, which will be a medium honey super if it ever gets that far. It looks just like box #2. When I get it painted, I’ll stack the whole thing together and see what my frankenhive will look like.
