Just the thought that it would have the guts to try to eat that cat right off the top of your head freaks me out. I've seen fox around here, but they are very timid and shy. I cannot imagine a healthy 'sane' fox doing something like this.

I would have fed her the cat. Sorry kitty... I would have avenged Mr.Tang later, but once I was armed and not facing a snapping fox.

I like foxes, I think she was confused and agressive because my coat had horse scent, but I carried the fresh cat scent. We have cougars by the river, I bet she'd have more respect. No free-ranging here!

If you don't have that published, type it out and mail it to yourself. Then, don't open the envelope. I've heard that can hold up in court as an unofficial copyright because of the official date on the envelope provided by the USPS.

I saw a flash of red at the edge of the woods just before sunset, night before last. Probably a vixen, checking out things. We installed our coop door today, chicks are in the house for now, and we're tightening up the new outdoor run. Think like a Weasel!
