Trust me -- not all of us want to be on Facebook! I may not always post on BYC but I certainly read the posts and LOVE the photos! Same with a lot of the BYC old timers -- they only respond to questions they can answer or other subject matter that catches their attention. Otherwise, I certainly enjoy and read posts all the time, especially when it comes to making a decision about what breed(s) to add to my existing flock.

Yeah, I agree. I was so excited to find this thread, but there has been very little action on here. One of our Wellie pullets has started laying. The eggs are a beautiful darker brown, most with speckles! They look great in the egg carton.

I look at the FB page and here. But I'm guilty too of not participating lately. Sadly it seems a lot of the original participants have fallen off after Trisha's death. I'm still actively breeding Wellies and BCMs. I've added Americauanas this year, thinking about olive egger project. I've been kicking that can around for several years actually. I tell myself I don't need to build more breeder pens and layer houses yet here I am doing it anyway.
