Beesong, here is hoping the PO didn't Detach the insides of those eggs!! We have lost 4 so far in Priority Mail due strictly to broken air sacs, Day 6... That's postal caused.

Mt Shasta is so pretty, I miss California......good luck vibes on your hatching!!!!

thankyou, i am very proud of him, people say 'its what you would expect a traditional rooster to look like'
its a shame today wasn't very sunny, but when it is and the sun catches his black feathers it turns to a blue tint!

Rooster's confuse me. I know they are different breeds, I just haven't LOOKED at chickens with the intent to figure out what they are and what makes them a different breed before.

I wish we had a color photo album that showed the roo and the hen for all the breeds. Maybe then I could figure out what bird was what and see how they are so different!!!!!

The roos usually look SO MUCH DIFFERENT from the hen, a newbie like me would think they were a different breed.

Lighting and computer monitors makes all the difference in photos. For alpaca we have to take the photos on a cloudy day or near dawn/dusk. Definately not at full bright sun and high noon as they wash out in the photos.....

Cheers,
Bon

He is beautiful!

And seeing these birds glisten in the sun is absolutely breath-taking!!!!! Their colors just POP! My favorite thing to do on a nice sunny day is stare at my Wellies for what seems like hours. I can get lost in their beautiful colors all glorious in the sun.

She is a pretty bird, but I believe she may be Brown Leghorn.

2x because of her white earlobes. Until she lays brown eggs, she is a Brown Leghorn.
