Cooking along. I'll candle soon, not that doing so will make be feel any more hopeful ........ the other batch went all the way to non-hatch and looked just fine along the way. Everyone still have their fingers crossed???? They arrived before the new 'bator, but that's OK -- I still have them in my other Brinsea EX.

, it's stange sometimes how that stuff happens, we had one fly into the fence and break it's neck last year.

I'm trying to get DH to agree to let me proceed with testing the 2 older girls and 2 boys to see who might have caused our chick that is feathered differently.

Glad everyone else is hatching out chicks! I'm just as excited as you are!

Thank you for the heartfelt feelings of my loss. She was one beautiful pullet.

Currently I am not hatching, incubator is cleaned up for now........ have to give the babies hatched time to get a bit bigger so the kids can decide who is staying and who can go. Would like to get the numbers back down some as we are figuring that if we do some test hatching it will take at least 4 groups or more...........

Dangit, I'm sorry! We've had horrible wind storms here...I've been holding my breath just waiting for the wind to pick up the coop and the flock with it and carry it off somewhere. Sometimes we think our only worries are predators and diseases...so sorry you lost a bird to the weather.
