be sure to check out the WCNA website, Robin has done an excellent job and the more members the better. oh. and the yahoo group, too. lol
We got hit pretty hard by a few of the heavy storms here in NC, so we had a lil delay in increasing our flock, just getting the coop built up for the new kummer hatchlings has been an endeavor, but it looks like everything will be good to go for them in may and then hopefully i can get some of those barber chicks nina is hatching later in may.
I'm really looking forward to working with these great birds.

i've felt very fortunate that we haven't lost any birds or suffered major damage. At this point just a little bit of rebuilding the new bigger coop, the current coop held up well and if I had finished the new one before they started hitting they would have held out fine. I have a lot to be grateful for and that helps keep things in perspective.

Well to soften the blow of having 7 more chickies in the laundry room I let the BF name them. He only named 2 and wanted them, Winchester and Remington, I thought they were kind of boyish so I call them Winny and Remi....cuter little girl names. But if the BF asks they are Winchester and Remington!

Does anybody have the Bantam Wellies? I'd love to see their egg color and body type. After blowing out eggs for the first time this past Christmas season, I am looking for all sizes for the eggs we use. This year we will have green, cream, white, but I'd love to add a brown bantam egg.

Muggs there is a guy on the swap thread that had bantam Wellies. I am not sure of the quality.

Gamebirdsonly is his name.
