That does look like a cockerel. You can tell early on with the eyeliner and V on their heads. When they start to feather out you can tell as we'll. the pullets have salmon chest feathers and the cockerels have a darker brown/black shade chest feathers.Old and wise forum.I need help with something. I have 5 Wellies the same age about 5-6 weeks and i can tell a definite difference in one of their comb and waddles as well as more of a protruding spur than almost any other of me hens. would this tell you that i may have a roo. I hope so because I'm looking for one. looking at these pics of your wellie roo's it makes me want to find one even more now. I have five wellies that are about 8-9 weeks old and none of them have any comb or waddles like this one. Please tell me what you think. I know the pics are not he best.The posible roo.
