The Welsummer Thread!!!!

Are these welsummers? Help please. I know they're not the australorps I bought. Love my girls but need the right roo. They're about 8 weeks.

I might have an issue. I have two girls and a roo Welsummer on order and due in September. Here is a picture of my first two members of my new flock 9/10 weeks old. They are both Ameraucanas and supposed to be hens, the brown one has quite the tail feathers though and as a newbie I am left wondering. I'm wondering if I have to break out my saw and hammer for another coop. Any guesses...male/female on the brown one?
Easter Egger Pullet

I am new to the welsummers. I picked up 2 from a local farm when I was getting EE's.
What are the main male female traits as a chick? Both look just alike.
What do you think male or female? If it was an EE I'd call them male because of the size.
I can get a better close up if needed.
Far left in front is a pullet.

It has been a long time since I have posted anything, but I just wanted to share some pictures of my welsummer bantams, really proud of these bird, very good hatches from them.

This is one of the two girls I first hatched, took me a while to find a rooster, when I did I also picked up another hen

These are from my first batch of chicks, now I have two lines of birds, very happy with my results so far

I am starting to have second thoughts on my Welsummer being a girl because it looks like its starting to get a comb and its only 4 weeks old tomorrow:

We are raising our first batch of Welsummer we received in March. They were approximately a week old when we received them. I am guessing they are 11 or 12 weeks. The cockerels are already crowing. Thank goodness we have 15 acres and no restrictions. Our neighbor loves the sounds of our roosters crowing. (She gets free eggs as well.) My question: Is it normal for them to crow so early? Their crow is not adolescent sounding either.
