Is it true that Welsummers are bad layers??

Mine isn't phenomenal, but she's decent. Bad is a relative term. Mine lays 4-5 eggs a week.

They are average layers. Mine are every other day regular layers. I have 13 hens laying. 8 eggs one day, 5 the next. Well back before some started to molt.

I like mine, have 5 hens, last month they laid around 104 eggs total- average to 3 per day so I think they do a great job. My girls are on the chatty side- always something to say when I go into the coop
