Any idea which is too or hen? They are about two months old.

I shared these on the WCNA but thought I would share here. This is one of my Silver Duckwing project chicks. I'm working on upsizing bantam Silver Duckwing Welsummers to LF size. This is the first cross with the bantam hens under a LF standard color Welsummer Rooster. I'm very happy to see that the bright yellow leg color carried over from the bantams in the cross. It will be fun seeing what characteristics start showing from each variety. I've got about 14 of these guys in the brooder.

the one on the left looks like a pullet - but its hard to tell from that angle for sure - I'm going by the hackle coloring. The one on the right - is that an isabel?

This is my first year having Welsummers, I got two pullet day old chicks last Monday (April 21st). I am beginning to wonder about one of them bc she is feathering much slower than the rest. Here are some pics of her beside her welsummer sister

She seems to act fine, she's very active and scratches around more than the others. Plus she is always the first to run up to me to see if I brought anything yummy. She just barely has any feathers on her wings and no tail feathers yet and is smaller than the rest (I will say the other Welsummer is the biggest of the week olds). Should I be concerned? I have heard sometimes Roos feather out slower so I am hoping it's not that...

I have some wyandottes that are way behind the others ..I don't think its a big worry but I would keep an eye on them and in a week if it doesn't look like they are growing then I might worry ..I think altho they are shipped at a day old that some I would bet are a little older ..also there may be a runt thing going on ..I have a couple that are almost feathered all out while some are just starting to get pin feathers ..well that's my opinion ..let see what others with more exsperance has to say about it ..

Thanks for sharing that...I had also wondered about the one maybe being a little younger, I picked them up at a day old but that doesn't mean the one welsummer couldn't have been closer to 2 days, and the smaller one just be dried off from hatching. Hopefully this girl starts growing some feathers soon.
