Could be, but I believe there are others that have a similar chipmunk look. But that is what a welsummer chick looks like. Did you have other possibilities of what breed it could be?

The feathers make me think maybe not, because the colors that look like they are coming in.

Sadly, no. We got them from our co-op and they just listed them as bantams. I have seen the EXACT same markings on several different breeds now, so I'm totally confused.

Leg color and feathering on the legs, as well as comb type can at times be used to help whittle it down further, but unfortunately you may not be able to tell/have a really good guess until the chick grows out a little. There are a lot of pure breeds that have this coloring, and then there is the chance that this is a cross breed as well.

I get $8 for "probable pullets". I don't guarantee the sex, but only sell ones that aren't clearly males.
