Eeeeeekkkkkk my very first PIP...ever... This is my second attempt at a hatch..I am so hopeful about this hatch...the first one was a complete failure and I was so bummed.

I haven't sold or hatched any (only have two hens and have some of their Marans cross eggs in the bator now), but the breeder I got them from who sells from show stock charges $10 per chick.

Good luck on the hatching @imlovinmyskin ! Is that chick above pure Wellie? It looks blond, not wild type coloring that Wellies have.

Yes it is.. I was expecting it to look like a chipmunk... but it is a purebread for sure. Got my Roo and my girls from my neighbor who breeds them. ")

It should be chipmunked, if it's a standard Wellie....someone jumped the fence?

They are in an enclosed pen most of the time... The only Neighbors are wellies too
