What's it look like compared to other Wellies of same age? How old? You're on the right track

Oh yes age sorry They are 2 weeks old today and when you say compared to others, do you mean compared to the other ones I have or others like in pics people have shared of theirs?

Another 3 weeks and you'll know for sure....color will come out on comb and wattles, also reddish, will appear.

So the lack of tail feathers is not necessarily indicative of a roo?

Here's a different one, also has tail feathers. And the reason I'm posting all of these is because it's a significant difference which is what makes me wonder. Thank you all for your patience and help with this noob

I don't know about gender ID from wing and tail feathers....thought that was breed specific and only a few breeds.
I just wait until 5-6 weeks, males are pretty obvious on most breeds.

You will start to get breast feathers in another week or two......that together with the comb development will give it away.
I have had a few "tomboys" in my chicks.....
