Never ordered any chicks from them, I find them to be kinda pricey too. Over $8.00 for a show chick!?

Here is a pic of my original roo KaBoB and his girls, my first Welsummers. Though KaBoB had a nice comb and obviously didn't pass it along to Odin, ohhhhhh... his personality left alot to be desired. He ended up living up to his name..... with a side of BBQ sauce.

Beautiful pictures of beautiful birds and eggs ! How long ago did Whitmore farms send them to you ?

Some of my Whitmore hen's are about 3- 4 yrs old. I share a line with my friend so maybe even older.
The whitemore line is one of the darkest egg laying lines I have come across sofar.

I am just now setting some aside in their own breeding pen, so that I can have a pure whitmore line of welsummer.

It's funny How a big welsummer can be so friendly,

I have people give me that weird look

all the time.

I raise mostly bantam breeds, Welsummer are one of the only large fowl I raise.

Guest think it's wierd how a big roo like my welsummer is so calm ,Friendly compared to my active little bantams who don't care to be bothered.
