Louie, better sort out the boys because the hens would be ridden too much by four boys. The sooner you could get some girls for hiim all for the better. Wished that Whitmore Farms would ship their pullets or older hens but they dont....they were selling them for five dollars a piece for two year old hens...not bad!

Some breeders want none and some said 10 percent, some want 20 percent but if you look at Whitmore Farms' Welsummer Roo, he has too much red in his chest....more like 70% red? Just too much but lovely color all around.

Happy Chooks roo is handsome! Very regal looking dude! I believe he is on the WCNA website under cockerals and roosters section.
