His shipping is FASSSSSSST! I mean I got mine less than 24 hours from the time he dropped them off at his PO to mine. 15 chicks in July I believe and NO losses at all resulted from that trip.

WoW! Busy day yesterday here in the Welsummer thread!

Good Morning Wellie folks,

Real pleased, sorry no photo, some of my Kummer stock has begun lay even in the "no sun" midwest! Pretty terra cotta brown eggs with little or no speckling. Really pleased with the lay at this time of year. Do not run lights here, but have a greenhouse roof on the coop which helps out quite a bit!

Well before you know it, this morning I noticed my boy is doing his advances.....come on girls, start laying! He is huge LOL!

Nate, now the sizes have revealed themselves........I have 4 bantams total.....two Germans, two Dutchs.

That slow grower finally stopped growing while the LF cousins kept right on growing.

Not sure what happened, but the roo is limping, no bumblefoot or anything. I am guessing he probably jumped off the perch and landed wrong in the cold. Sometimes we do too on a cold day and shock running thru your ankles and legs.....ouch! However, he is able to do his "duties". He is becoming "manly", with the treats, he would call to the girls LOL!

I saw your post on CL before and have been trying to find you online for a week! I finally found you on BYC! too funny. Anyway I'm just north of you in the Granstburg area. I will more than likely be placing an order with you within the next couple weeks!
